Over the period of a few months within our coldest winter for many years,

I started to chance upon the odd dropped gloves. After all, they make no obvious sound, at least detectable to the human ear, and in the era of iPods, we have even less of a chance to hang onto our full compliment of mittens.

One wonders who owned the garments and perhaps when they dropped them?

Was It The Boogeyman?

I had wanted to set my dissertation as a book for some while and took the opportunity to do so recently. I had written it on the 'slasher' movie phenomenon and based it on John Carpenter's 1978 classic 'Halloween' and it's influences and legacy.

We all have to complete a dissertation in our time at uni and rather than it becoming something that is treated as a chore and a bind, I took the view that it was an integral part of the course and therefore put a lot of effort into it.

I felt that it warranted a design treatment other than A4 and ringbound and the results took the form of a custom-sized, perfect-bound 50-page book.

I am considering publishing it, once it has had a second print run.
